Mecool KT1 is basically the same as Mecool KM6 Classic Edition, except for the DVB-T2 tuner and a different enclosure.If you'd like to watch AV1 YouTube or Netflix videos, and also get free-to-air channels using older codecs, Mecool KT1 adds a DVB-T2 TV tuner that works in the EMEA region, some Asian countries, Oceania, and a few other countries that adopted the standard.
The Mecool KT1 runs Android 10 for Android TV (i.e. it’s a certified Android TV media player) with Google Play Store, Google Assistant, Youtube, Amazon Prime Video, built-in Chromecast support, etc… The device ships with an IR and Bluetooth voice remote control, a power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a user manual.
